Weezy Guarantees Fans Will Get the Long-Anticipated Album
Lil Wayne has officially promised fans that Tha Carter VI will be released before the end of 2025.
During an interview with AT&T at the College Football Playoff National Championship in Atlanta on Monday (January 20), Weezy was asked if the highly anticipated album would arrive this year. He responded confidently with a single word: “Guaranteed.”
This announcement is the strongest indication that Tha Carter VI is on the horizon. Wayne, who hasn’t dropped a solo album since 2020’s Funeral, has been teasing the project for years, hinting at surprising collaborations.
One such collaborator, West Coast legend Warren G, previously revealed that he contributed to the album. Speaking on SiriusXM, Warren shared details about their track, titled “All Alone.”
“I got a record called ‘All Alone’ with Lil Wayne. It’s gonna be on Tha Carter VI,” Warren G said. “They was like, ‘We need this, Warren.’ I was like, ‘Aight, that’s cool.’ It’s me and him on there. That muthafucka’s so vicious. When they hear that, they gon’ be like, ‘Wow!’”
With Weezy’s assurance and star-studded features, anticipation for Tha Carter VI continues to build.
