Skateboard P has a distinct way of judging his music

Pharrell has a rather unique way of listening to his own music, this is also true when it comes to his 2003 hit “Beautiful” featuring Snoop Dogg.

During an interview on CBS Sunday Morning with Kelefa Sanneh regarding his Lego film called “Piece by Piece,” Pharrell revealed that he has “mixed feelings” about the early 2000s, significantly due to the success he gained as a member of the group The Neptunes, and on the Snoop Dogg collab which exploited his use of falsetto.

“I had a song called ‘Beautiful’ with Snoop, right?” Pharrell asked. “Girls heard me singing that. I heard Mickey Mouse.”

“I swear to you, when you just get a moment and you just listen, you’ll never be able to unhear it again,” he added. “But that’s what I hear.”
