Posty legally goes after former landlord

Post Malone is having problems with his former landlord and he is taking legal action. Per a report by Radar Online, via his company Posty Touring, the “I Like You” hit-maker is suing DK Development for failing to return part of a $400K security deposit he paid for a $26M property in Brentwood, California.

In the suit, Posty recognizes that he owes the landlord some funds for electric bills as well as a couple of days he stayed beyond the agreement. Out of the whole deposit, the rapper requests $338K. “[Defendant] is improperly withholding at least $338,419.28,” the lawsuit states.

“Defendant grossly overstated amounts of claimed damages, deducted for items that are plainly not deductible under the Lease of California law, and failed to provide supporting documentation of claimed damages for multiple requests.”
