Just as the fans, Kid Laroi is as well shocked after Juice Wrld’s name was removed from the cover of their 2021 collab, “Remind Me Of You.” A fan shared the altered artwork on Twitter before Laroi quoted it revealing that he has “nothing to do” with the change and that he had asked his label to restore Juice’s name.
I had NOTHING to do with this & had no idea it was even a thing until now. I’ve hit the label and asked them to change it back.. I’m sorry & genuinely have no clue why it was changed without my permission. https://t.co/HSgdk3qy9i
“I had NOTHING to do with this & had no idea it was even a thing until now. I’ve hit the label and asked them to change it back.. I’m sorry & genuinely have no clue why it was changed without my permission,” the Australian rapper wrote.
Juice WRLD’s team released late rapper’s second posthumous album, Fighting Demons, earlier in the month and later followed it up with the HBO-produced Juice Wrld: Into the Abyss documentary on December 16.
The documentary features Juice’s lifelong journey with footage from some of the rapper’s most memorable moments. The Kid LAROI, who was a close associate of Juice, also appears in an interview during the 1hr 50min-long video.
During the conversation, the Australian rapper said he and Juice’s girlfriend Ally were present during his final moments. Laroi recalls the cops stopping them at the airport, and preventing them from checking on Juice who was bleeding from his mouth after he’d odee’d.
“I remember walking off (the plane), and seeing through the window all the police and sh*t. They said, ‘Everybody get your passports out.’ So I’m sitting down and Juice is sitting across from me… I kind of froze, I didn’t really know what I could do to help him,” Laroi recounted. “So we’re all just sitting there panicking. At first, we just thought he was having a seizure, but then blood started coming out of his mouth and his nose.”
He added, “then, everybody obviously started freaking out way more. Then the police came over and handcuffed us all in a line and said, ‘Get the f**k away from him…’ They’re telling Ally he’s fine, but we’re all looking like, ‘Bro, he’s bleeding.’”
