‘s double murder trial began last week and it appears to have drawn more people to stream his . Per multiple reports, as of Monday (June 19), Melly’s monthly listeners had surged by 8.2%, taking the figure to 10.5M.

The Florida rapper’s trial started on June 12 and is still ongoing. Melly is being accused of fatally shooting two of his associates: YNW SakChaser and YNW Juvy in October . If found guilty, the “Mama Cry” rapper could be sentenced to death.
