Second person in Young Greatness’ murder found guilty
A second suspect in the murder of Young Greatness has been convicted. According to WWL, David Reaux was found guilty on Thursday (January 19) after a jury unanimously returned a guilty verdict. Reaux was arrested in 2019 and charged with second-degree murder, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
Other suspects in the case are Donny Maxwell and Lovance Wix, who pleaded guilty to armed robbery, obstruction of justice and two conspiracy charges in 2019. Maxwell was hit with an additional charge of manslaughter. Maxwell and Wix were 16 and 19 respectively at the time of the crime.
Per Nola.com, Wix was handed a 20-year prison sentence while Maxwell is yet to be sentenced.
Greatness was fatally shot in October 2018 during an armed robbery.
