2 Chainz Announces New Album ‘Dope Don’t Sell Itself’


2 Chainz had previously declared the album his last project 

The trap veteran says he has a on the way titled, Dope Don't Sell Itself. According to Allhiphop, towards the end of his set at HARD Summer festival in California over the weekend (August 1), the rapper revealed the album title. “I appreciate y'all. That's my time,” 2 Chainz told the crowd at the NOS Events Center. “New album on the way – Dope Don't Sell Itself.”

On July 17, the “Money In The Way” rapper took to to disclose that the upcoming body of work will be his last trap album. “This gone be my last trap, enjoy,” he tweeted. 

2 Chainz, formerly known as Tity Boy during his days as a Playaz Circle member, has six studio albums under his belt. In recent years, he has released studio efforts like 2017's Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, 's or Goes to League, and 's So Help Me God
