Lil Wayne wins in the $20 million lawsuit filed against him by his former manager

is off the hook of the $20 million lawsuit his former manager  Ronald Sweeney and Avant-Garde Management filed against him. 

According to Pitchfork, a judge in California has ruled in favor of a motion filed by Wayne's attorney that argued that the suit was filed in an inappropriate jurisdiction.

Wayne's defense cited Weezy's established residence in Florida and Sweeney's operations in that led to the ruling. Without prejudice, the court order leaves room for another suit. 

Sweeney and his management company sued Lil Wayne in December claiming that their decade-long services were not sufficiently compensated.
