Kodak Black in turn wants to become the vice president of Roc Nation if he wins a Verzuz over Jay-Z
Albeit Jay-Z recently declaring that he doesn’t see any rapper who can battle him on Verzuz, Kodak Black is ready to place a quarter of his catalog on a bet to face Hov on stage. The “Super Gremlin” artist eyes for the vice president’s position at Roc Nation if he beats Jay.

On Monday night (January 3), Kodak raised eyebrows with a tweet calling for a Verzuz with Jay. “I’ll do a versus wit Jay Z “IF” he win he get 15 % of my catalog ! I win he make me Vice President of roc nation,” he wrote.
Predictably, a number of Hip Hop fans on Twitter disagreed with Kodak. “You smokin too much Za bro,” a fan replied. “Damn my n*gga you tripping,” another added.
During a December Twitter Space hosted by Alicia Keys and Genius, Jay revealed that there are no chances of him appearing on a live show battle since he doesn’t have a worthy opponent in the game. “No one can stand on that stage with me. It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me,” the music mogul said.
He continued, “you got to stand in front of the ‘Grammy Family Freestyle’ live? No one has ever even seen me perform that, you got to stand in front of that? That ain’t never going to happen.”
