Drake’s CLB is still doing numbers
Drake’s sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, was released half a year ago and it’s still on rotation. The album has not left the Top 10 of Billboard 200 for six months. This week, it sold 30,000 album-equivalent units in the US, outselling numerous newer albums. Drake is also the best-selling artist in the US this year in terms of album-equivalent units thanks to CLB which has sold over 2.3 million units since its release.

CLB was released in September last year and saw an impressive opening week. The 21-track album debuted atop of Billboard 200 after moving over 600k units in the first week. Released via OVO Sound, Young Money, and Republic Records, the body of work featured Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Yebba, 21 Savage, Project Pat, Tems, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Kid Cudi.
On the production side, Drizzy tapped his usual collaborators like 40, Nineteen85, PartyNextDoor, OZ, and Vinylz, and more.
