The three rappers dominated Spotify first month of the year
Drake, Travis Scott and 21 Savage opened this year on high gear. According to Hip Hop All Day, the three were the only rappers to garner over a billion streams on Spotify. Drizzy surpassed 1.6b, Travis 1.1b, and Savage 1b.
Drake and Travis Scott both dropped their albums last year to high commercial success. The former and the latter's For All The Dogs and Utopia opened atop the charts with 401k and 496k units sold respectively. 21 Savage released his new album, american dream, mid-january and topped the charts with 130k units earned.
