After the release of their debut album Totally Krossed Out in 1993, hip-hop duo Kris Kross released their second album Da Bomb a year after. At the beginning of Kris Kross’ 1994 single Da Bomb, the line “I drop bombs like Hiroshima” was cut out on the Japanese version. The song was produced by Jermaine Dupri (who discovered the duo) and featured Da Brat, making it her first appearance on wax ever.

The single Da Bomb did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
