Kendrick Lamar released his fourth studio album DAMN. on April 14, 2017. The album was released via Top Dawg Entertainment, and distributed by Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. Kendrick’s critically acclaimed album, DAMN was the highest selling rap album that year of 2017. The album sold 603,000 copies first week.
Damn was the first non-jazz or classical album to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2018. The album also won Best Rap Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards. Since the album was released it has not left the Billboard 200 album Chart.
