De La Soul is taking this initiative to address issues the country is facing and encouraging people to vote to get the current president out of office. They have spent their entire career expanding the boundaries of hip-hop with a politically-educated style over 4 decades and counting.
“When it comes to this president and his administration we need to exercise our right to vote and REMOVE him from office,” says POS
This latest project will push those boundaries even further. “Remove 45,” features Styles P, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, rap activist Mysonne & Chuck D. The legendary group is currently recording their highly-anticipated new album with DJ Premier and Pete Rock.
