Diddy called out the Recording Academy recently at Clive Davis' pre- gala after receiving the Salute to Industry Icons Award. During his speech, he criticized the Grammys for overlooking artists in major categories.

Despite the valid points he made, rapper took issue with not heeding to his own advice. He then called out Diddy's bad practices with artists in a lengthy Instagram post.

In the post he wrote, “Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Badboy label.”
