Kanye West gave Lil Wayne 20 Beats for ‘Tha Carter III’

's sixth studio album, Tha Carter III, was released on June 10, 2008, After multiple leaks, the final version of the album featured two beats produced by  West.

In a March 2008 interview with DJ Semtex, Lil Wayne revealed that Kanye West was eager to contribute to the album that he gave him 20 beats during the recording process.

“The first visit he had five joints, on the second visit he gave me a CD with 15 joints on it. I had to tell him, ‘Just please stop. Can you leave me alone, please?' On the album, he probably got a good three, but in the files, he got about 20… I know the [collaboration] is his for sure.” Lil Wayne says on Kanye's trips to the studio.

produced Lil Wayne's “Comfortable” featuring Babyface and “Let the Beat Build.” on Tha Carter III . The iTunes version also featured “Lollipop (),” which included a Kanye verse.
