On May 24, 1993, Jeru the Damaja released his debut album The Sun Rises in the East. His best performing album, the cover art features a drawing of the building with a picture of the rapper standing in front of burning twin towers at NYC's WTC.
While this would be irrelevant for years, when the twin towers were attacked on 9/11, the artwork resurfaced. Was this prophetic or merely a coincidence?
