Drill legend Chief Keef was born Keith Farrelle Cozart in Chicago in 1995. He got his start rapping in his teens and blew up at the age of 16 when Kanye remixed his son “I Don't Like.” He was on house arrest in Chicago when he got famous and due to ongoing legal problems, moved to Los Angeles.
His debut was 2012's Finally Rich, delivered via Interscope records. He's gone on to work with Travis Scott, Mac Miller, and Playboi Carti. He has become one of the more influential rappers to popularize drill music.
