Drake cancels show to attend Takeoff's funeral
Drake was scheduled to perform at The Apollo Show this weekend but has canceled the show in order to join Takeoff's family and friends in order to honor the late rapper. Drake communicated on his Instagram page Monday (November 7) that the show has been moved to December 6, and date 7 has been added “for the fans.”
“The Apollo show has been moved to allow us to pay respect to our dear friend this weekend. We have added a second date for the fans,” Drizzy wrote on IG stories.
Takeoff's funeral will be held on Friday (November 11), at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Take was tragically shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston at the top of the month.
