Nicki Minaj finally launches her own record label, making her the first female rapper to do so. The “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” hit-maker disclosed the news during a Friday (March 3) episode on her Queen Radio show, but reveal the name of the label..
“I'm not gonna announce the name but I have a record label now,” Nicki said. “Because I believe so strongly in loyalty and because I spent my whole life giving you others that turned around and shit on me.”
She later added that the first to join the label roster are Ghanaian artist Nana Fofie, Jamaican dancehall artist Skeng, Bronx native London Hill, as well as Rico Danna. Veteran executive Wendy Goldstein will be the president of the label.
