Burna Boy makes history
Burna Boy sets a new record as he becomes the first African artist ever to earn two platinum singles. This is after the African Giant's hit record “Last Last” sold 1M units across the US, making it eligible for platinum certification by Recording Industry of America (RIAA). The track was released as the first single off his sixth studio album, Love, Damini.
The Nigerian Afropop star received his first solo platinum single earlier this year after his 2018 smash, “Ye,” surpassed 1M units in the US.
