Tory to remain in prison
Tory Lanez will have to remain in prison as the California Court of Appeal denied him bail this week. According to court docs shared by court reporter Meghann Cuniff, the judge couldn't offer bail because the “appellant has not shown that the superior court unjustifiably denied relief.”
Shortly after Tory was slapped with a 10-year sentence for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, his legal defense filed bail on pending appeal. The Canadian rapper has been accused of shooting Meg in the foot in 2020. He has since maintained his innocence.
