Hov & Ye's ‘No Church In The Wild' was a massive hit

Phil Manzanera, former Roxy guitarist who contributed on and West's “No Church In The Wild,” claims the amount of money he made from the track surpasses everything he made during his 50-year career. The track was part of Hov and 's 2011 joint album, Watch The Throne.

“'No Church in the Wild' was the first track [of Watch the Throne], with my guitar riff playing throughout the whole song and included vocals by and ,” Manzanera wrote in his recent memoir Revocíon Roxy who's excerpt was shared by iNews.

“The album went gold in the UK and Italy, and platinum in the United States and Denmark,” he added. “It was used in the trailer and in a scene in the film The Great Gatsby, was in an advertisement for Audi cars, and in another TV ad for Dodge Dart which ran in the half-time break of the Super Bowl.”
