As reported, Kanye West will be headlining Coachella 2022. He has a long history of appearing at Coachella and Ye heads to the desert for his Donda set April 15 – Apr 24, 2022.
Omicron has shaken up the live music scene yet again and the lineup for Coachella has been updated. Frank Ocean and Travis Scott were set to headline two years ago but those plans have been scrapped as well and Kanye West is taking the headline spot this year.
Ocean will be moved to 2023 and Scott has been dropped due to the tragic events that occurred at last year's Astrofest. Rage Against the Machine, who was supposed to reunite at the 2020 show, is out and Harry Styles is in. The Rage Against the Machine reunion tour will kick off in March and may conflict with Coachella. Billy Eilish will also be headlining this year.

Kanye's prior appearances include 2011 where he headlined. In 2019, Kanye brought his Sunday Service to Coachella, on Easter no less. The artist is formerly known as Kanye West who recently changed his name to “Ye” and has been very visible with his new girlfriend, Julia Fox, after his divorce from Kim Kardashian. He recently purchased a home across the street from his former mansion to be close to his family in Calabasas.
