Polo G has three platinum albums under his belt
Chicago-born rapper, Polo G, is one of the leading young acts in the rap scene right now. Since breaking into the mainstream in 2019, he's released three solid albums that are now all certified platinum.
Capalot attained this status after his last album, Hall of Fame, sold 1 million copies in the United States and was certified platinum on Sunday (January 23). Released in June 2021, HOF followed up his sophomore studio effort, 2020's The GOAT. His debut album, Die A Legend, was acclaimed upon its release in 2019.
Polo G is currently working on a joint album with producer Southside which Capalot said will “f**k the streets up” when it drops. While celebrating the success in first-week sales of his deluxe Hall of Fame 2.0 despite having leaked before, the “Smooth Criminal (Badman)” rapper revealed he is focusing on the upcoming collab album.
“& they had leaked my whole shit a month befo it Dropped Which I still can't seem to figure how that happened….but this light shit doeIm on To Dis Southside Project me & bro @sizzle808MAFIA finna fuck the streets up dats a guarantee,” Polo wrote in a December 2021 tweet.
