Tjay blasts “blogs” that reported he “was paralyzed and couldn't walk”
Rapper Lil Tjay took to his TikTok account to share a post-surgery video of him walking with the support of a nurse while his song “Beat The Odds” plays in the background.
“The blogs said I was paralyzed and couldn't walk,” Tjay wrote in the post. “But I started walking in a week after surgery. I beat the odds.”
Tjay was shot seven times in an attempted robbery while sitting in his car in Edgewater, New Jersey June.
Two months after the near-fatal shooting, Tjay shared first statement in a video. “Hey what's going on y'all?” Tjay, who rocked a medical gown & neck bracelet said in the video.
“I'm just checking in with y'all. I just wanna say, thanks for the love, thanks for the support. I've been looking at the DM's, seeing the comments and everything else and I feel love.”
