Back in the early ’, André 3000 & Big Boi both attended the same high school; Tri-Cities High School in the borough of East Point, Georgia.

With the mutual love for and funk that we hear in their music, they would both join forces to form the group we all know today as Outkast. They would release their debut single on LaFace Records’ Christmas album titled Player’s Ball. LaFace would sign them and they will release their Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik in 1994.
