Dre is selling some of his publishing rights

is reportedly about to close a deal to sell part of his publishing rights to Shamrock Holdings and Universal Group separately for a total of $250M, according to Billboard. The deal will mainly involve income from two of his solo albums, as well as his contribution to N..A's catalog.

This will include artist royalties, producer royalties, and writer's royalties on the music he doesn't own copyrights to. This may entail tracks from his album The Chronic.
