King Von has passed away at the age of 26, following shootout in Atlanta
King Von, one Chicago's prominently rising stars, has passed away at the age of 26. Following a shootout at Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, King Von — real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was left in critical condition before passing away from gunshot wounds. It was originally reported that two others were dead, while Von was still fighting for his life.
“That physical altercation escalated into an exchange of gunfire with those groups,” said Atlanta police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek. “Two police officers who were working at that particular club, or lounge, noticed the altercation and engaged some of the people involved. There was an exchange of gunfire with police as well.”
As reported by HotNewHipHop, the shootout took place with King Von and Quando Rondo's crew.
